Why do parking lots need non-slip and wear-resistant floors?

    The reporter saw at the scene that due to water leakage in some parts of the parking lot, the ground is prone to water accumulation. Normal epoxy floor surface is smooth, in the case of water, whether it is car or pedestrian, it is easy to slip, which is the cause of the accident.

Test Conclusion

    The ground slip resistance is proportional to the ground friction coefficient, and the friction coefficient can usually be measured by the friction angle. The larger the friction angle, the larger the coefficient of friction.

Test Method:

    The slanted sample forms a slope, a heavy object is slid down on the slanted surface, continuously adjust the inclination angle of the sample, when the object falls at a constant speed, this angle is the friction angle.

    Micro-sand anti-slip epoxy sample: when the inclination angle is 30°,  the heavy object is still stationary.

Normal epoxy sample: when the inclination angle is 15°,  the heavy object falls.

Test Conclusion

In garages that were applied normal epoxy floors, harsh noise can occur when driving, especially when braking.

The decibel meter was used to test the noise of the car in the micro-sand anti-slip floor and the normal epoxy floor garage.

Normal epoxy floor garage: 69.5 decibels in car.

Test Conclusion

Scratch resistance, that is, the ability of the floor surface to be scratched by hard objects without leaving scratches.

 

Test Method:

Rub the micro-sand surface continuously with a coin and observe whether the surface has scratches or sands falling off.

How  to  Install?

After the curing of the leveling layer or the topcoat layer, uniformly roll one time to form a micro-sand anti-slip surface. Especially suitable for the normal smooth epoxy floor to reach a anti-slip performance, the material dosage is about 0.1-0.12kg/m2.
